I was tagged by Ashwini to write this post.
What is the next level? I often turn to my mother when I think of stuff like this. She keeps saying 'Maggie, just do this once and you'll never have to do this again' from writing my board exams to taking pills, that's her advice. I haven't had to write my boards again (Thank God) and still take pills with a lot of drama, but it always has become easier with time. When I thought of blogging and next level, my first question was 'what is my level, anyway?' How can you take something to the next level? As I go into a deep state of questioning of why I want to do this, what it means... My mother's reassuring and intelligent voice says "you have to start somewhere" and the good sense to write this, prevails.
With blogging, I have no idea what my
next level would be. More followers? Better ranking? Get better at writing? read more, perhaps? I don't know. I want it all, but that's definitely not why I want to give my Blog baby the love it deserves. At the end of 2016, I want to feel like I
did something with a wonderful piece of technology.
Personally, I put happiness above all else, and blogging is going to be another way to stay happy. Crazy, yet happy. Making friends along the way and getting to read happy thoughts from far and wide, I really see myself enjoying blogging for the human aspect than for the metrics. Metrics I deal with at work anyway, blogging is far away from work. Writing is my happy place! I want BlogChatter to take me there

Your mom's right dear! Start from nowhere, but start. Because eventually, you'll reach somewhere, which is better than being nowhere. Ain't it? Great post. The whole community is with you :)
ReplyDeleteHey Maggie , the way you are talking about blogging being about being happy is an extremely evolved outlook so I think you are at the next level already.
