Her daughter fought her, cried and told her she wanted to time. She said she wanted to be sure of herself. She said she didn’t want to live with a boy. She said she wanted to grow up. She said she wanted to be on her own. She laughed it off when she was told marriage is a beautiful compromise, she laughed harder when she was told she’s old enough to have babies. To which she was told “Do what you want”. Her daughter did exactly as she wanted. Guess who had the last laugh? Yep. Mummy won.
